Tell us about your dog – how did they come to you, what are their favorites things to do, eat, play with, etc. (up to 200 words)
Sheldon was our clearance puppy from the Humane Society because he is deaf. We adopted him 7 years ago when he was 8 months old and fell in love with him instantly. We have since taught him 5 signs. Everyone is his best friend and his favorite thing to do is make new friends. He even tried making friends with an opossum one time that was under our porch. We take him with us to the Tuesday Market, to Home Depot, the beach. Wherever he goes he gets stares, laughs, and awes, but mostly the same incredulous question, "What kind of dog is that?!". He has short bassett legs, a long body, and a lab head. People are curious about him, and then Sheldon wags his tail, folds his freckled ears back and rubs against their legs and a new best friend is made.
