Tell us about your dog – how did they come to you, what are their favorites things to do, eat, play with, etc. (up to 200 words)
Born in Sisters, Oregon Pinto Bean spent his first several years working the front desk at Sellers’ Antique Company in Downtown Hillsboro. He didn’t really like other dogs until one day Cocoa sashayed in. It was love at first sight. Cocoa soon became part of the family and was “Miss April” in the previous Dogs of Downtown Hillsboro Calendar. Now that the antique store has closed, Pinto spends his days playing and relaxing at home with Cocoa, their son JJ and two birds. He enjoys running in his yard, playing, and barking at the chipmunks, deer, elk, and racoons. He loves hiking and can easily do an 8 to 10 mile hike with the family. His favorite toy is lamb chop and he likes to fall asleep to acoustic guitar music. Pinto dreams that every dog has a home and is loved as much as he is. He knows that all the money raised in this contest will help to care for those less fortunate than he is. He also wishes for world peace.
