Tell us about your dog – how did they come to you, what are their favorites things to do, eat, play with, etc. (up to 200 words)
I adopted Buddy from the Oregon Humane Society about 2 years ago. I was looking for a dog to keep me company on walks in the park that allow me to discover nature and help me on challenging hikes in search of waterfalls. When I first met Buddy I was intimidated by his size and unsure if we would be a good match but he is truly a gentle giant and won me over quickly when he came over and gently nuzzled me. Since then, we have become the best hiking buddies and have gone on so many trails together it’s hard to keep track. When we aren’t out exploring he likes to spend time at home relaxing in the sun or jumping on our trampoline, chasing squirrels along the top of the fence or sprinting around the yard playing keep away with his favorite toy’s. He loves to meet new people and other friendly dogs so if you see us come say hi!
