Tell us about your dog
Jasper is an almost 2 year old American Foxhound/Great Dane rescue. When he was a puppy we rushed him to the emergency vet because we thought he was having some kind of neurological episode. Turns out he was just high. He had eaten the tail end of someone’s joint while out on a walk (we live in the city, next to a university). So now that’s in his permanent file.
He eats any litter that blows into the yard including cellophane wrappers that I’ve had to provide assistance with when he can get it to evacuate his system independently.
Our vet frequently uses “compliments” such as spunky, bouncy, and spirited and once just came out and said, “He really gave us a run for our money!”
He has also recently taken to peeing in my flower bed.
He is also sweet and snuggly, but definitely makes us drink!
