My daughter Hattie wanted to take part in something creative; so we saw “Doin’ the Classics” on The Art Garage Facebook page as the perfect opportunity! This is the first time we have done something for the garage. We had fun discussing different paintings and looked through what we had around the house to create our own version of the very famous painting of “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo Davinci. We studied the painting and grabbed our paints to re-create the background. With her already long dark hair and a few outtakes, we were able to capture the essence of the “uncatchable smile.”
