2020 Doin' the Classics Fundraiser
OFFICAL RULES

SPONSORS

PURPOSE
The 2020 Doin' the Classics virtual fundraiser is intended to serve as an opportunity to financially support of the arts in the Greater Green Bay and surrounding areas to give back. As further explained below, all fundraising will take place on GoGoPhotoContest via the link found on our website, https://theartgarage.org/pages/doin-the-classics, and our Facebook page.


TERM
The contest begins Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12:00:00 a.m. US Central Time and ends Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. US Central Time (the "Contest Term"). ALL VOTES MUST BE COMPLETED AND IN BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2021 AT 11:59:59 P.M. US CENTRAL TIME. The information contained herein - including how to enter, how to win, and the prizes available - the Doin' the Classics fundraiser contest, you agree to the Official Rules and warrant that your involvement in the Contest complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules. This is a photo contest challenge and talent does not play a part in the determination of winners.


ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open only to those who: i) are supporters of Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage and its mission to encourage and appreciation for and participation in the visual performing and literary arts; ii) have completed the participation application form including a photo release form; iii) are not employees or board of director members of Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage.


TO PARTICIPATE
All those individuals who are interested in being a part of the Doin' the Classics fundraiser contest shall be identified as "participants" in these Official Rules. To enter, please follow these steps.

  1. Choose a classical art piece you would like to imitate.
  2. Do your best to imitate your chosen classic art pieces with whatever you can find; A bonnet fashioned out of toilet paper? A celery stalk cigarette? Or, maybe you want to match your classic art piece perfectly.
  3. Visit https://theartgarage.org/pages/doin-the-classics and find the "Doin' the Classics Participation Interest Form"
  4. Complete the "Doin' the Classics Participation Interest Form", filling in your name, phone number, email address, supporting organization (if applicable), what classical art piece you would like to imitate, how many individuals may be included in the chosen piece, and an attached image of the original artwork photos.
  5. After filling this out, a staff member or board of director member will contact you with details and to answer any of your questions. Before completing next steps, be sure to wait till someone contacts you.
  6. Take your image and follow steps given previously by staff member.
  7. Congratulations, you have entered in our Doin' the Classics fundraiser to support The Art Garage and other arts related non-profit organizations. Encourage all of your friends, family, social media contacts to vote for your pose during the online contest!
All donations made through this contest will be considered tax-deductible and all donors will receive a formal donation receipt with tax language directly from Facebook. Our supporting arts organizations are not responsible for the issuing of donation receipts in connection with any donation made through the contest, unless they wish to do so.

Only one (1) entry may be created per participant. No donation or purchase of any item to our organization is necessary, and a donation/purchase outside of this specific fundraising event platform will not increase your chances of winning.


WINNERS & PRIZES
Winners will be identified based on which participant has received the most total votes in support to their classical art imitation image as of the close of the contest on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. US Central Time. There will be one (1) first place winner, one (1) second place winner, and one (1) third place winner based on the highest number of votes for their photo. In the event of a tie in voting totals t a particular winner-level, the participant who reached that number through the greatest number of unique donors will be declared the winner at that particular winner level and the other participant shall be declared the winner at the next winner-level. We will also be giving judges choice awards to the Most Exact Matched Pose, the Most Creative Use of Props Pose, and the Best Non-Profit Pose, voted on by a panel of judges connected to The Art Garage.

The First Place Winner shall be awarded one (1) "Staycation for Two" themed package, valued at One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00).

The Second Place Winner shall be awarded one (1) "Packer Tailgate" themed package, valued at Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).

The Third Place Winner shall be awarded one (1) "Support Local" themed package, valued at Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00).

Judges Choice Award winners shall each be awarded one (1) "Creativity" inspired basket from The Art Garage, valued at Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00).


WINNER NOTIFICATION
Prize-winning participants will be notified about their prize, via email, or phone, by Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. US Central Time. For the name of the winners, send an email after Monday, February 8, 2021 to info@theartgarage.org or check our website at www.theartgarage.org.

Prize-winning participants, at Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage's request, will be required to provide their legal name, mailing address, phone number, email address, as well as additional information requested by The Art Garage, and/or sign and return, in the forms determined by The Art Garage, affidavits, declarations of eligibility, liability releases, tax-related paperwork, publicity releases, warranties of ownership, licenses, and/or other documentation as required by The Art Garage. Alternate winners are subject to all eligibility requirements in these Official Rules.

All winners shall be invited to attend a reception event, taking place on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00:00 p.m. US Central Time, located at The Art Garage, 1429 Main Street Green Bay, WI 54302. An e-mail will be sent out with further details for this event after announcement of the winners.

NONCOMPLIANCE OR RETURN OF PRIZE NOTIFICATION AS UNDELIVERABLE, WHETHER BYREGULAR MAIL OR BY E-MAIL, OR PHONE, MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND SELECTION OF AN ALTERNATIVE WINNER.


PUBLICITY & PROMOTIONS
By entering this fundraising contest, each participant grants Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage the right to use his or her name, general biographical information, and information relating to the participant's fundraising page, worldwide in perpetuity, and without compensation, in connection with any contest-related publicity or promotions created by Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering this fundraising contest, all participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, exculpate, and hold harmless Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage, and each of their respective officers, directors, assignees, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest.


DATA PRIVACY
Participants agree that all personal data provided to Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage, may be stored, used, and shared by Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage. Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage reserves the right to interpret the Official Rules as needed and to correct typographical, clerical, or printing errors in any contest marketing materials.


RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND CONTEST
Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage reserves the right, and its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the fundraising contest if, for any reason, the contest is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, any reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, and any other causes beyond the control of Cedar Center Arts/The Art Garage that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest.
