Emmie adopted me back in March 2014, actually we had started to create a bond months before that. Emmie's first mom, who was a client that was very special and dear to me, had became ill and I would go pick Emmie up in the mornings, bring her to work with me, and then take her back home after work. After Emmie's mom went to heaven I knew that Emmie needed to stay with me because of the strong bond we had created with each other. She comes to work everyday with me, enjoys her treats, gets all the attention she wants, plays with the puppies, relaxes in her own bed here in the office, and gets the very best care. She is my shadow and I am reminded everyday how appreciative adopted pets truly are!
