Mittens and her 9 siblings were born outside on an exposed, rocky ledge in Monument Valley Navajo Reservation. The two monuments in this photo are called “The Mittens” for obvious reasons. So, her name was a no brainer when we decided to bring her home at just 3 days old.
Her siblings all found homes also.
She’s currently battling cancer and will have surgery to remove a large tumor on her liver soon.
Dove Lewis has cared for her a few times and we love them!
