Pure joy at the PNW coast!

Esteban de Lafayette was rescued at about 1 yr old from a kill shelter in the South. We wanted to name him something you could shout across a field, so A Life Aquatic came to mind.

He hasn't always loved the beach - the tide cannot be trusted, you see. But since moving here to Oregon, the empty beaches are a supreme joy. So much to sniff, pee on, and roll around in.

He's a survivor in every sense of the word from cuts to cancer. We hope this photo of our prince has made you smile.
