Contest Entry
You must submit a photo of your dog(s) and include:
- Name of Dog(s)
- Your Name
- Your Email
- Your City and State
- A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo. Is this a DRBC dog? If so, how long has he or she been a part of your family? Can you share something special that we could include on our calendar if your photo wins?
All photos must be uploaded. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies.
NO PEOPLE in the pictures...this is all about the puppers :)
Multiple entries are encouraged and honorary doxies are welcome too. Dogs do not have to be rescue to enter.
Photos must be high resolution (to work for the video) or they will be returned and donations refunded.
All submitted photos will be shared out on the DRBC page on Facebook and Instagram!
All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.
Contest & Voting Fees
Each entry is a $22 tax deductible donation to DRBC.
Entry Opens: Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at 12:01AM
Entry Closes: Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at 11:59PM
Voting Opens: Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at 12:01AM
Voting Closes: Wednesday, November 9th, 2022 at 11:00PM
When commenced, each vote is $1. There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast, but you must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. You may vote for your own photo and you may spread your votes across multiple dogs. The top 13 vote getters will appear in our 2023 calendar!
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded based on voting totals. Calendar placement will be made as described below.
Due to the limitations of our computer tabulating system, there can be up to a 15-minute delay between when a donation is received/recorded and when it is reflected in the leaderboard. All votes received before 12:00PM EST will be honored. The leaderboard results are official.
Calendar Awards
The top 13 Calendar Girls and Boys will be featured in the 2023 DRBC Calendar! The DRBC Calendar will be available for sale in Late October 2021 on a Pre-Order basis. Sales for this fantastic item will continue year round in the Doxie Boutique.
Miscellaneous
DRBC reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.
Dachshund Rescue of Bucks County & NJ [DRBC] is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. All donations are non-refundable.
DRBC reserves the right to use any photos submitted for marketing purposes.
