Please describe in detail how this nominee stands out among the other peer mentors in your program.
I am writing this letter today on behalf of Victoria Jacobs, in consideration for the George Nahodil Excellence in Peer Mentorship Award. Within the capacity of the Rock Life program, Victoria has served as a peer coach since August of 2025. Our coaches are a vital part of the day-to-day operation of our program, providing 1-to-1 peer support for students in the program and committing 5-10 direct contact hours each week with our Rock Life students. During her time as a peer coach, Victoria has embraced her role with consistency and passion beyond our standards. She quickly created a rapport with not only her student match, but all students in the program. Victoria has a calm demeanor, willingness to help, and passion for providing fun experiences, and creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our students. Undeniably Victoria exceeds position expectations. She is exceptionally reliable, frequently offers additional assistance, and is often willing to accompany our students in a variety of ways. Without a doubt, Victoria is invested in the success and future of Rock Life students. In the time that I have known Victoria, I can say confidently that she will be an asset to any future employer. In a short time, through consistency and a willingness to help, Victoria has made a positive impact on our program.
