Gertie Girl is our current foster and DRM rescue. She was saved from an Okalahoma shelter after being dumped as a "stray". Gertie came to DRM extremely emaciated and in such poor health she could not stand nor walk. Gertie has been in foster care for 6 weeks and has gained almost 10lbs (over a third of her original weight) and though she still isn't walking or standing on her own, she gains strength every day. Gertie is a true testimate to what love and rescue can mean to a Dobie who deserves a chance at life, and we are so grateful to DRM to who gave it to her.
