We rescued Athena about 2 months ago from our local Humane Society. We have had Dobies in the past but it had been a few years since we had one. One day we met one when we were at a local brewery and remembered how much we loved the breed. We kept an eye on the Sioux Empire Humane society and it wasn't long until we saw Athena. Twice it showed that her adoption was pending and twice her adoption fell through. She was meant to be ours! She is a unique dog but we love her even more because of her quirkiness!
