Your Pet's Bio/Story
Peka is my 1-1/2 year old AKC toy Pomeranian. I adopted her from a breeder in Oklahoma. When I picked her up at the airport she was 7 weeks old and weighed just two pounds. She was and is a little ham. When I adopted another dog, a Pom mix, from the Denver Dumb Friends League she took to him almost immediately. He is taller than her so when they race around the yard her little legs can barely keep up and she sometimes ends up doing somersaults. She lets me know every night when it is 7:00. She sits and stares at me until I take her to bed (we get up at 3:00 am). She sleeps under my bed where my last purebred Pom slept but she had to be put sleep due to severe heart disease. I think it is comforting to Peka to sleep there.
