Your Pet's Bio/Story
As a care provider for a relative with Alzheimer's - I realized the need for her to have a companion lap dog. Honey Bee was at the Dumb Friends League and part of the Lonely Hearts Club (pets that have been at the shelter for longer periods). After my initial visit with Honey I brought back my relative later that day and there was an immediate bond. Honey is small enough that my relative can pick her up and she can lay on her lap without causing any pain. She has been a true blessing. Anyone that has taken care of someone with dementia knows the importance of animals and the calming effect they can have.
