Your Pet's Bio/Story
Mugi was adopted from DDFL three days after our first DDFL Rescue, Mesa, had moved on leaving our home and hearts with a void. Mugi helped to fill those voids, was immediately aware of my PTSD and Depression and acted in ways to ground me when I was triggered. At the recommendation of my Psychiatrist, Mugi was trained and certified as a PTSD dog allowing me to return to places and activities that were previously overwhelming.
