Your Pet's Bio/Story
I adopted Karma 8 years ago from the Dumb Friends League as a kitten. After I picked her up, I was told that every kitten picked up that day came down with panleukopenia, a fatal and highly contagious disease for kittens. It was suggested that I relinquish her to avoid coming home to a dead kitten. She was ill for certain and I brought her back only for observation and testing. DFL lost 150+ kittens that season to panleukopenia, mine thankfully was not one of them. She is the most delightful soul and is as much a kitten now as she was then. Her personality is engaging and entertaining, she follows me everywhere. I love her to pieces and still tear up telling the story of that rough beginning. I had to keep her quarantined for 2 wks when she came home. Ever so thankful, She made It!
