Your Pet's Bio/Story
Dutch is a rescued Corgi mix who adopted me and my other dogs in 2011 when she was 5 years old. She had been returned to the Fort Morgan Animal Rescue when her latest family moved out of state and didn't take her. Mine was her third (and final) home. After a rocky start with Hamilton, my cattle dog, she taught him who was boss and settled in! The two of them have been best friends since that time.

My other dog at the time (Mollie, a Border Collie mix who I had adopted from Denver Dumb Friends League in 1999) was elderly and starting to struggle due to hearing loss, arthritis, and dementia. Dutch became Mollie's guardian and followed her whenever Mollie would leave a room and/or go outside through the dog door. Dutch always made sure Mollie was safe until Mollie finally passed away in October 2014.
