Your Pet's Bio/Story
Mia was found huddled in a parking garage in downtown Houston during Hurricane Harvey. She was terrified, hungry and pregnant. Mia delivered her five puppies in Texas, and she and her little family came to Denver for fostering and adoption one week later. The same day she arrived in Colorado, my sweet dog died of cancer. It was also my birthday! I thought that with all those meaningful events happening at the same time that Mia was meant to be with me. I welcomed not only Mia, but one of her pups into my home.
