Your Pet's Bio/Story
I stopped in on a whim looking for a small dog for my wife. The kennel remodel had just begun an so they were only 12 dogs at The Denver Dumb Friends League at that moment. The volunteer said she had one small dog on hold and the family was coming in an hour. She said if I’d like to wait and see if they adopted Charlie (aka Cookie at the time) that would be ok. 15 minutes later, the volunteer came out and said the family wasn’t coming. Three volunteers came in with ‘Cookie’ and one said, “Boy dog, you really smell. ‘. He was dirty and matted, but was as sweet as could be so I adopted him. The rest is history.
As you can see he cleaned up rather nicely.
