Your Pet's Bio/Story
We adopted Toast from DFL 1.5 years ago. He was mean and abused when he arrived there and the behavior specialists worked with him and helped his real personality show through. Toast adjusted to our home quickly and it's like he was always meant to be our dog. Toast loves playing tugs, greeting us with toys at the door and getting his belly rubbed. You would never guess he was mean at one point as he is the sweetest, kindest dog. I thank the DFL for working so diligently with him to make him a wonderful addition to our family.
