Your Pet's Bio/Story
Athena was surrendered to DDFL in January of 2017. I walked in on January 19th intending to adopt a different dog, but he was adopted before I could get there. Staff suggested I meet with "Ronny" and the moment she walked in the introduction room and jumped on my lap, she was in my heart! I renamed her in honor of my favorite goddess, for strength and wisdom, and she has been pampered ever since! She has 2 toy boxes and her favorites are squeaky animals that she can thrash against the floor and squeaky tennis balls that she even throws herself so she can chase them again! She loves running agility courses at dog parks and tries to herd her mom, grandma, and of course other dogs. She can be found on Instagram at athena_the_fluffy_poodle even though she's not fluffy during the summer.
