Your Pet's Bio/Story
We were asked to be Jaxson's puppy raisers for Paw Pals Assistance Dogs, and got him when he was 3 months old. At age 16 months, while being neutered, the vet discovered that he had histiocytic sarcoma (a soft-tissue cancer) in his leg, which had to be amputated. He is no longer in the service dog program of course, but is now our Joyful Jaxson! You can see by the photo that having 3 legs just makes him faster!
