Your Pet's Bio/Story
I picked Seamus up from a C.A.R.E. transport of homeless dogs from Kansas and was supposed to drop him at a rescue later that day. However, the rescue asked if I could hold on to him for a couples days. Of course I said yes. I knew within hours that I would keep him. Never have a I met a dog that was so exuberant and joyful, goofy and loving. He could run 20 miles without batting an eye and never gave up on his hope of catching that squirrel tormenting him from the top of the fence! I said goodbye to him last week - he was 17 or 18 years old, but his spirit never faltered, despite being blind and deaf for the last year of his life. He will be missed dearly.
