Your Pet's Bio/Story
We adopted Riley 12 years ago at 7 months. In his first year he tested our patience and our savings accounts with eating rocks, peach pits, broke into our neighbor’s house through their dog door after climbing our fence. He was the soulmate and best friend/brother to our adopted Golden Retriever mix. We loved Riley from the moment he put his paw on the window as we passed his kennel at DDFL. He is full of personality, will walk into a room, randomly bark, and then walk out to lay on his bed or bask in the sun shining through a window. Today he is 12.5 years old. He was recently diagnosed with a large liver tumor and we made the difficult decision to let him live out his life in comfort - whether that is months or a year or two -without the complicated and painful recovery from surgery.
