Your Pet's Bio/Story
Ginger was born in 2007, in Arkansas, where it’s believed she was used for breeding. Seven years later, a rescue group brought her to Colorado, and she chose to spend her retirement with me. Ginger lives her senior years in a senior community, enjoying a calm, mellow life, going on short walks and rolling on her back in the grass. In recent years, she’s become severely visually and hearing impaired, but still has a keen olfactory sense. Though she rarely barks, she expresses herself by yodeling animatedly, much like the lederhosen-clad Alpine fellow in the old Ricola ads. Ginger is also a three-time finisher of the DDFL Furry Scurry (even though she did need a ride back to the car in a golf cart on one unseasonably warm day). I’m blessed to have Ginger as my roommate, companion, and best friend!
