Your Pet's Bio/Story
I adopted Sawyer from a rescue early in the pandemic at 3 months old. He had been through a lot, including being attacked by a much larger dog so he was pretty timid. He needed love and to learn to trust again. As it turned out he actually rescued me by teaching me those things. I was super stressed during lockdown, then was laid off my job, discovered some health issues and had to take added precautions. As a result I spent a lot of time home alone. Sawyer is the best snuggler, my constant shadow and the sweetest boy who always seem to know when I need a hug. His piercing caramel eyes really see me and he knows when I need comfort. His amazing, knowing eyes show the depth of his unconditional love. I'm so lucky we found one another. It has truly been a mutual rescuing.
