Tugs and Mickey are foster failures from the DFL. Tugs was meant to be on the Telethon, but was ill and couldn’t attend, which opened the door for adoption by his foster mom. Several years later, Mickey and his sisters were fosters who actually made it to the Telethon, but a year later his foster mom recognized him on the foster list for a surgical procedure. Mickey wasn’t leaving his foster mom’s house a second time! Tugs is a Shar Pei- German Shepherd mix and Mickey is an American Staffordshire Terrier - German Shepherd mix. They love playing with Bruce, their brother who was adopted from the DFL as a kitten, and they all share a distinct dislike of puddles, rain, dew drops, etc. Tugs is a dignified gentleman while Mickey is a complete clown, but the combination is loved dearly by their family.
