Your Pet's Bio/Story
About 10 years ago, I went to the Denver Animal Shelter to rescue a dog described as small. When I got there, I was disappointed that the dog I came to see was quite large and too much for me to handle. I walked around the cage area feeling disappointed, when I passed a blonde poodle-type pooch standing up on his hind legs as if to beg me to rescue him. And, so I did. He came home to meet my six rescued cats. He loved them all, and forged a good relationship with a couple -- who liked to sleep next to him. He never showed any anger toward any of them. Over the years, the cats have gone over the Rainbow Bridge.

Benji has been my best friend since that wonderful day I found him. He sleeps right next to me and must be in contact with my back or hip -- making us both feel warm and secure. Ben follows me from room to room no matter how much I walk around! Benji is my very best friend .
