Your Pet's Bio/Story
Rio was born to an unwanted litter of puppies in New Mexico but went on to change his adopters' lives! His friendly demeanor and zest for life is inspiring. Though he's slowing down a bit now that he's 12 years old, he still enjoys hiking, swimming and meeting new friends. He's never met a stranger, as the saying goes, and was a beloved therapy dog at a hospital in Durango, Colorado, for many years before relocating with his family to Denver. He's also been very tolerant of his pesky little sister, a poodle mix named Peach.
