Your Pet's Bio/Story
Leo and Abby were adopted from the Dumb Friends League Denver in Nov 2018. The pair of Chihuahuas were bonded and inseparable. Mom came in for one dog, she left with a two pack. Abby has the typical Chihuahua Napoleon complex where as Leo, the big boy, is more docile and cuddly. The shelter indicated Leo had a heart murmur and was not in the best shape. Csu confirmed heart failure was certain within less than a year. Mom decided though costly, balloon Valveloplasty was the only option to ensure a longer happy life for Leo. The surgery was a success! Leo’s condition has remained stable without any signs of decline. In Oct. 2021 mom moved from Colorado to Florida while her divorce was finalized. Abby and Leo were the only constant in mom‘s life. Moral to the story: Sometimes love isn’t forever except when it’s dog love.
