Your Pet's Bio/Story
Edie and her littermate, Toby, are bengals and joined the family in 2005 at 12-weeks of age. They are alum (Ms. May) of the DFL calendar. Edie just celebrated her 18th birthday and is going strong. (Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Toby, Edie’s sister and my moosh cat, in November 2022). Edie sees herself as royalty and it is HER decision when, and how much, attention and affection is appropriate. Even after acquiring another cat and a dog, along with a move to Costa Rica as a senior, the world remains her oyster. Her “commands” that it’s time for dinner or a snack are expressed loudly and expected to be obeyed. Her crossed front legs show she understands she is regal.
