Your Pet's Bio/Story
Dezmond was adopted from Denver Dumb Friends League in January of 2022. His Bio named him WeeMan, but Dezzy seemed to fit better. Since he is Blind, he walks a bit splayed out and seems unsteady on his feet. The Kitty Neurologist said he’s actually got a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. One of the cutest things is that he sits with one back leg stuck out to the side, like a “kickstand” ! Another cute thing he does is his “zoomies” are up & down (jumping) instead of running around …. You tend to bonk into things when you can’t see :(
I hope you are inspired to help a special needs kitty, it must be so much harder to feel safe when everything & everyone keeps changing. The decision to bring him into our family was one of the best we’ve ever made.
