Your Pet's Bio/Story
In November 2020, my boyfriend and I visited DFL with the intention of adopting a kitten. Among the many adorable young kittens, one special boy stood out to me. He had recently had an eye removed, leaving half of his face shaved and a bit rough-looking. Having previously adopted a blind kitten, I have a soft spot for kitties with special needs. When we met him, he purred constantly and had the sweetest demeanor. His unique markings and incredibly soft fur immediately drew me in. Both my boyfriend and I instantly loved him and were excited to give him a good home with our other two cats. Pico is very vocal, playful and affectionate. They told us he was 6 months when we adopted him and we didn't believe it because he looked bigger than a 6 month old kitten. 4 years later, he's a a big boy weighing in at 21lb!
