Your Pet's Bio/Story
Missy was a DFL rescue, adopted in 2007 into a single cat household. Fuzzy was a DFL rescue too, adopted in 2007 and one of 3 cats in the household. By the time we married in 2020 we were combining households, but also bringing a new housemate for each of our 13 year old cats! They were less enthusiastic about the situation than we were, and there were some differences of opinion but they established a ‘detante’, if not a friendship. The picture was taken near the end of Fuzzy’s life in 2022. It was heartwarming to see Fuzzy reach out to Missy, and Missy respond and their paws meet. They sat that way paws touching for at least 10-15minutes, a beautiful and poignant experience. Each brought love, laughter, companionship and support to our lives.
