Your Pet's Bio/Story
Daphne completely won her humans over from the first meeting at DFL on January 15, 2019. She had been recently diagnosed with EPI and was noticeably underweight, but she had a sweet temperament and such soulful eyes. As she settled into her new home and special diet, she reached a healthy weight and grew a beautiful coat that gets her many compliments. Daphne is so gentle that she still has the same stuffed toys that came home from DFL with her, squeakers intact! She does have a fierce bark when anyone comes to the door (hello, mailman!) but quickly moves on to nubbin-wagging once she greets a new friend. She loves city walks, exploring the mountains, playing fetch and frisbee, and getting “scritches.” Daphne’s humans are so thankful to have her in their lives.
