Your Pet's Bio/Story
I volunteered at the DDFL working with abused dogs several years ago. I worked with Brandy when she was brought in at 2 years old. She had been so abused that I had to foster her in our home for a couple of months to prepare her for adoption because she was terrified of everyone and everything. When I thought she was ready for adoption, I took her back to the DDFL but her little spirit was so sad that I convinced my family to adopt her. She is almost 18 years old, now deaf and blind but still wags her tail whenever she senses us. She is the love of our lives but we know she’s a heartbreak waiting to happen. And she is without a doubt, the most sweet and grateful dog I have ever worked with.
