What does it cost to enter?
The contest entry fee is $30 per photo. This fee gives you one copy of the full-color calendar which will be mailed to your preferred address by December 2022.
You are welcome to make an additional donation during the entry process, with each dollar counting as one vote.
All proceeds from contest entries and votes will help us provide shelter and lifesaving care for the homeless animals at the Dumb Friends League.
How many photos can I enter?
You can enter as many pet photos as you wish! Each photo entry is $30.
How many votes are needed for my pet to be featured in the 2023 calendar?
With our annual calendar, we want to celebrate the beautiful diversity of our companion animals. The five cats, five dogs, one horse (or another equine), and one small pet who receive the most votes will be chosen as a Pet of the Month. The person whose pet receives the most overall votes will also get to pick which month their pet is featured.
We will spotlight all photo submissions on a collage page in the 2023 calendar.

How do I vote for a pet's picture?
Votes are $1 each, with a minimum donation of $5 for five votes. All votes are tax-deductible.
You can also vote for your own pet's photo (and as many times as you and your friends and family want!).

How do the categories/leaderboards work?
At the Dumb Friends League, we care for a diverse range of animals, and we want to reflect this diversity in our 2023 calendar.
The top five cats, top five dogs, top one horse, and top one small pet with the most votes in their respective categories will be selected as our Pet of the Month models. In other words, the ranking in each animal category, rather than the overall ranking, will determine the top 12.
However, the person whose pet receives the most overall votes will get to pick which month their pet is featured.
When does voting close?
Voting closes at 5:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Friday, August 5, 2022.
How do I know if I won?
The winners in each category will be announced via email. You can also regularly check the
leaderboards to see your pet’s vote tally. Remember, only the top five cats, top five dogs, top one horse, and top one small pet with the most votes will be featured as Pet of the Month models in the 2023 calendar.
When will I get my calendar?
We will mail the 2023 calendars in November 2022; you should receive yours by December.
