Your Pet's Bio/Story
We met Dante (originally Rico) at the Dumb Friends league in August of 2009. We arranged a meeting with him and he was very cautious of us. He sat across the room from us, just eyeing us and deciding if he wanted to come closer. After a while, we thought that maybe we were not the parents for him. Then all of a sudden, he came over sat in my lap, licked my chin. After which he gave me a mischievous look, like I'd just passed his test. I instantly fell in love. Given his quirky, intelligent expression, I had to name him Dante after quirky author Dante Alighieri. We've been best buds ever since.
