Your Pet's Bio/Story
I grew up with Basil. In his younger days, he enjoyed going camping with my family. (I always tried to prove to my dad that, despite being a TOY spaniel, he was in fact "sporty".) He accompanied us on a few cross-country road trips. For years, he barked at a certain metal cat sculpture that he'd see on our neighborhood walks; and when the sculpture disappeared, he'd bark at the spot where it used to be. Now, in his senior years, his favorite things are dog biscuits and toilet paper (if he can get it); and when he sleeps on his side with his little belly showing, he sometimes reminds me of a lima bean. He's 13, and doesn't get around so well anymore. But I can't imagine a sweeter (sometimes pesky) Old Man Dog to have followed me from the third grade into my early twenties.
