Your Pet's Bio/Story
When we adopted Keelut from the Dumb Friends League in 2009, he was the 5th dog we'd adopted there since 1980. Named "Scruffy" by the staff. we named him "Keelut" after an Inuit spirit in the shape of a dog. It was only later that we learned that the Inuit Keelut is female, evil, and hairless, while our Keelut is male, friendly, and very hairy! He loves to eat, and had gotten up to 120 pounds before we put him on the "green bean diet". He's now down to a healthier 94 pounds and loves to go hiking with us, along with DFL adoptee number 6, Molly.
