Your Pet's Bio/Story
Gilby was rescued from a hoarding situation in Kansas in November 2010. Since the local shelter could not handle the 136 dogs rescued, Gilby was sent to another shelter then to Rockin" Paws Rescue in Parsons, KS. We picked him up in Kansas. He was so traumatized, my wife had to hold him on her lap the entire 7 hour drive back to Denver. To this day she is still his security blanket. He has done a good job of settling into his forever home and yard. He loves his sister Nutmeg (a DFL alumni) and his family. Gilby loves to run with his big ears flying in the wind. Gilby is pictured in the yard of his winter home in Arizona.
