Your Pet's Bio/Story
Andre was a stray in southern Texas and was sent to a rescue organization that brought him to Denver for adoption. We met him at Petco and fell in love with his big white head with his tongue sticking out of his mouth. When we first brought him home he weighed about 80 lbs. and didn't have much hair. He's a Great Pyrenees so he was very underweight and needed a lot of care and love. We also discovered that he is a special needs dog because of a problem with his kidneys. With special food and hydration weekly, he has gained 40 lbs. in 6 months and looks beautiful! He's completed several training classes and we are working on the Canine Good Citizen Program. Even though he is still pretty shy, he loves the dog park and playing with his dog buddies.
