Dog's Story or Bio
After months of searching for a companion dog for my 85-year old mother, whose previous rescue dog died a month before moving to Colorado, I came across a dog that I thought would be a perfect match. Ironically the dog I was interested in had the same name as my mother. Yep, "Precious" was originally given the name "Maxine" by the rescue team and my mom's name is also Maxine. Believing that destiny was in the works, I promptly reached out to see if this sweet 4-year old dog was still available for adoption and was tickled pink when I was given a thumbs up! "Maxine" (the dog not my mother) was renamed to "Precious" and the rest is history in the making. Help check off one more box on the memory train that my mom is experiencing by voting for Precious! (PS - She doesn't know about this.)
