Rue is a retired invasive species detection dog (trained to detect the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle). She has presented in dozens of schools and science centers and was even filmed in a TedXTalk in 2017. She has been to 23 states and almost three countries. Hobbies include detection work, picking fights with roadrunners, and exploring ghost towns in the southwest. She is currently spending the rest of her retirement in sunny North Carolina.
