Olive, the 19-year-old cat, is the undisputed ruler. She may be small, but she runs a tight ship—and demands a handful of dog kibble at every meal (loudly). At this point, we’re convinced she’s at least part dog.

Then there are the 3-year-old Labs, Hazel and Bentley (with Bentley turning 4 on April 22). Hazel, the chocolate Lab, is a local celebrity—you may recognize her from her Easterseals NH & VT badge and her frequent appearances at the Auburn St. office. She’s equal parts professional and playful.

Hazel and Bentley are best friends who love long walks in the woods, running full speed, and spending time with family and friends. But no matter how big the dogs get or how busy life is, one thing is constant:

Olive is in charge.
