Frankie and her Twin Sister Snickers were found abandoned in a bush. They were barely 4 weeks old, and shouldn’t have been away from their mother. We waited, and hoped the mother would come back, and asked if anyone was looking for them. No one came. Frankie had been attacked by another animal and had an abscessed wound on her neck, mouth and ear, with puncture wounds. She wasn’t even 1lb, and we prayed she’d make it. I fell in love with them both immediately, and so did my husband (who pretends he doesn’t like cats) my children, our dog, and our other cat (though she took a little time). I knew we couldn’t separate them. Snickers was so protective of her sister, and they still sleep cuddled up together. They are so bonded, it would’ve broken my heart to split them up. So, with the help of our wonderful vet, several shots, and 14 days of liquid antibiotics, she recovered, and is thriving today. They’ve grown so fast, and make us laugh all day long. They are such a blessing that we didn’t know we needed, and though I’m so saddened at the way they came to us, and the trauma that they’ve been thru, our family believes your animals find you, and we were definitely found.
