We are overjoyed to welcome our newest family member, Mālolo, who flew to us across the ocean from Puerto Rico thanks to Island Dog Rescue and Santuario de Animales de Barranquitas, Inc.. Accordingly, her new name means flying fish in Hawaiian, and she is already making a splash in our hearts. 💦💗

Mālolo ('Lolo' for short) had a rough start, brought to the rescue with burns on her side by a good Samaritan. Nevertheless, her wound is healing beautifully, and she certainly never lost her joy and zest for life. We are grateful to all those that helped her find her forever home.

We are excited for her to explore her new home river and make some unforgettable memories together. 🐶🌊🌴
