Serbet is a rescue from Turkey, brought to Virginia in late 2020 by SEVAGRREAT rescue. On June first of 2021 she & I adopted each other and now she joyfully wakes me at dawn every day to explore alongside the Western Branch of the Elizabeth River & gaze across the waters. ‘Serbet’, is the name I’m told, of a sweet/fresh fruit drink in Turkey & it certainly suits her happy & loving nature.
