We adopted Bailey from Home Fur Hounds in Williamsburg Va.. A postal employee found her at a post office off 95. He called the number on the collar and the hunter said he left 13 Beagles in the woods because he could not take care of then and he did not want her back. The post office employee was not able to keep her and did not want to take her to a high kill shelter in NC so he called around to rescues in VA and MD. He contacted Home Fur Hounds and they took her in. We had been interested in a different dog that was on a home visit but that family ended up adopting her. We had been watching their page for another Beagle when we saw Bailey. We meet her and as she stared into our eyes we instantly knew she was ours. :-)
